Rebrand checklist for gaming & tech

Avoid partial rollouts that confuse fans and sponsors — sequence work so every touchpoint updates together.

Before design starts

  • Why rebrand now? (growth, merger, new audience, outdated equity)
  • What must stay recognisable for existing communities?
  • Competitive set and verbal territory — how you sound, not only how you look

Identity package

  • Logo system: primary, wordmark, lockups, clear-space rules
  • Colour, typography, and imagery direction (in-game vs marketing)
  • Motion principles if you use video and stingers heavily

Rollout

  • Social avatars, banners, and templates for staff
  • Streamer / partner kits where relevant
  • Website and email signatures in the same sprint where possible
