Brand guidelines deliverables

Guidelines should be usable, not shelfware — the test is whether a new vendor can execute without a briefing call.

Core document

  • Strategy summary — audience, voice, positioning
  • Logo usage, colour, type, imagery, and motion rules
  • Do / don't examples with short rationale

Working files

  • Figma (or equivalent) component library with published styles
  • Slide and social templates for common formats
  • Optional: token export for web (CSS variables or JSON)

Governance

Name an owner for approvals, version dates, and where the latest file lives. Partners should never guess which PDF is current.
